hi Duke,
thanks for the tip! will keep that in mind. ",)
my gosh.. didnt know that... i often spill wine on my cuffs and sleeves.. u know how bumpy it gets sometimes (both in and out of flt).... *wink*
hey, ang galing! i know about the soda water thing, so hindi pala effective yun sa red wine stains? anyway, i'll take your word for it then. hindi ko muna susubukan at bago ang carpet namin, hehehe. :D
I was so drunk I puked at my Armani shirt. It was all yukky brownish reddish gross kind of look & stinky gwarkish suka-odorish, pula-to-the-max. I make babad the shirt to this hot water, sprinkled the iodized saltish thingy plus droppish of lemonish on it, babad overnightish and voila! Andun pa rin sya!
Now, I make kuskus the shirt with clorox and stuff, it worked.
Buti na lang wala akong carpet or else baka kinuskus ko sya ng clorox.
Humour me! TY sa tipsy, I mean TIPS.
waw nice tip.
how about "pyuk" stains after having bottles of wine? :P
JO You are welcome :D
Sha 'Will try this next time I have a "spill".
Yuri lol.. Yeah I think this tip would be very handy for you, you cheeky git! :D
meeya naku! wag muna sa brand new carpet nyo. I tried soda water for minor stains and it works pero red wine hindi eh.
K Really you tried this and it didn't work? baka naman natuyo na yung stain when you put the salt ( the morning after drinking!).
My gosh! clorox! be careful with that thing... lol
Jeff hihihi I haven't figured that one out. I try to leave my clothes out of barf's way ;)
Hey Duke ... this tip may really come in handy! in any case it doesnt work ... i can always call housekeeping :) heheheheh...
i need this. altho the stain remover i'm using is really effective but used almost a bottle before the vomitus stain (my son was sick and vomitted) on the carpet totally disappeared. and iodized salt is way cheaper than carpet stain remover. i can even pour a box of salt on the stain.
that really works...i saw that trick when i was with some friends, and i was surprised when they poured some salt on the stain...
i wonder if that'll work on red wine stain on shirts. hmmn....
=)
I think I won't have such problem Duke. I rarely drink wine these days and we don't have a carpet at home. Hehe.
salt is nature's cleanser or purifyer, but never tried using it on carpet stained by red wine. i surely keep this in mind!
oh cool..thanks for the tip!
ako naman, I read somewhere that you should put white wine. interesting that salt works. hmmm...
I just read an article at www.savvymiss.com that said to use hairspray, let dry, then brush it off. Haven't tried it yet, but am willing to try anything once!!! Here's the link to the article - http://www.savvymiss.com/handy-miss/do-it-yourself.html
