New Snow

The past days, I did not have internet access. The lines for our cable internet broke down because of the heavy snow. I was glued watching the quarter finals of the Australian Open. I couldn't help but notice how hot and sunny it is in Melbourne right now while we are at below zero over here in Istanbul.

Since I had no connection to the world wide web, during husband's day off, we decided to stroll in the park and and play with the snow. The snow fall was at 60cm and it was a lot of fun running around and goofing about.

Now the sun is shining but the snow is still coming in trinkets. I'm becoming park addict!

Incidentally,Belated Happy National Day to my Aussie mates and Independence Day to my friends in India! Enjoy the sunny weather over there! I'm literally freezing my arse off!

On Snow: By just looking at 'your' snowy weather it's already making me sick. As you know here in HK is not snowing, but wet-cold makes everyone gets really SICK.

On Internet: At least it made you decide to go out playing snow with hubby & watch the game.

On Aussie: They were all gluging at Lan Kwai.

Meeya- things are going back to normal here but the humdity is worse! brrrrr days still ahead.

Jo- hello! it sure doesn't feel like Canada when it is not snowing. There is something with seeing your surroundings to be all white.
