On Weddings...

I like couples who have a sense of humor when it comes to their wedding. It is hard enough to arrange a wedding and go into all the details more so, add a little something to spice up the event instead of the ever so used antics that we normally see in a wedding.

Now now now... how do you make of this picture? what was in the couple's mind?

Let me read your thoughts...

Such a knockout scene for the groom. Well marriage can be whatever you define it as. If you are together snd you love each other and are good to each other, makes babies & all that, for all the intents & purposes you are married.

But, that's a scary thought. I'm practicing celibacy at the moment. LOL.

I forgot to add you the other day, I will do that, now.

So sweet of you!

btw: I love everything "turkish" - the lamps especially. They have this little shop at wanchai who sells extraordinary pieces - i'm in love with their crafts.

On the side note: I hope you & your husband are definately enjoying the life back there. Sayang we only get acquainted here.

Maybe, next time soon? Visit HK sometimes. Thanks for 'stabbing' my lunk. I'll be reading.

the groom got so drunk during the reception so that the bride had to pull him to their hotel suite for the honeymoon...

Hi Duke. Very funny indeed. Looks like the guy was wishing he wasn't in any weding suit at all.

this happened after the reception. the groom's too drunk to walk and the bride's dragging him saying, "you bastard! you've no right to pass out. we still have to do the thing, you know. we didn't pay the hotel dearly just to sleep our asses off there."

i linked you. is that okay?

whoa! I like the new header, astig ang dating, cool and smooth!!!

I am still enjoying being married. Your entry reminded me of our wedding day. The most memorable part was when he sung to me unexpectedly "All I Ask Of You". Hanggang ngayon kinikilig pa rin ako at naiiyak sa pagiging emotional eh, haha.

Just unwinding here because it’s weekend. Will be busy again tomorrow. Keep blogging!

The wedding topper is cute only if the couple has a sense of humor. How ironic would it be if in reality the bride is a monster?! Anyhow, I love those out-of-the-ordinary versions of tradition - more power to the couple!

(blog-hopping around, will return!)

Hi there! I was blog hopping and found your site with this entry. The topper is the exact topper we had during our wedding a year ago this September 5th. We found these funny toppers at michaels.com and my then groom-to-be chose this because 1. he said I have that the same determined look in the bride, meaning I am my own person, and 2. he said he is lazy sometimes so he needs to be dragged on his butt. I am proud to say that after a year, he is still the same funny, smart, and respectful guy I fell in love with and married. More power to you!
